Every quarter, we hold a baptismal service to witness those who publicly profess their faith! Of course, the whole set up doesn't happen on it's own. You can volunteer and be part of the celebration by helping out in the arranging and take down of the baptismal set up. We can use volunteers on two separate days and during the service.
1) Fridays before baptismal Sunday -- Setting up for baptismal would include wiping down the pool, filling up the pool, heating the pool, laying out carpet, setting up the changing rooms, and a few more smaller details. This job would take about 2 to 3 hours the Friday before baptismal service.
2) Clean up baptismal set up --This can be done either right after baptismal service on Sunday or the Monday after. Jobs include the opposite of description 1 above. Cleaning up would take about 2 hours.
3) During baptismal service -- We need help during baptismal service. During baptismal service, we can use help in the following areas: curtain puller, piano player/AV tech, photographer, and videographer.
